“We Support Our Schools” May 2023
A2Z Personnel and the Drive 107.9 were excited to award Diane Warren from Stevensville School the We Support our Schools grant for the month of May.
Diane teaches Special Education at the middle school. She is coordinating a half day event for the 120+ students who have had a GPA of 3.5+, have had zero office referrals and zero missing assignments for the entire year. They call it the Trifecta; grades, great work ethic and no behavioral issues. All students from 4th-8th grade who meet this criteria can attend the event. The end of the year party will take place in June and will include a BBQ bounce house slide, games, and water play. This very popular event has gone on for about 5 years and is a fantastic reward and motivator for these students. This year, the mayor and members from the police and fire department will attend.
