A2Z Personnel and the Drive at 107.9 are proud to award the The We Support Our Schools Grant for the month of May to Natalie Martin!
Natalie teaches kindergarten through fourth grade music at
Corvallis
Primary School. Natalie’s personal musical talents include voice, and playing piano and Ukulele. Her small music classroom is a place for students who love music to sing, dance, play instruments and have fun. The students primarily
sit on the ground for various activities
which can be a hinderance to their learning. Natalie will utilize her $200 grant money to help pay for flexible seating, including; stools, vinyl floor cushions
and wiggle seats! This updated seating will benefit 450 students who visit the music classroom.
A2Z Personnel and the Drive at 107.9 appreciate you Natalie Martin, for providing a creative and comfortable area for your students to learn and grow. Adolescents with musical training have been shown to have better
cognitive skills and become better students. Thank you for all you do with the children you teach.
