Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain project progress.
  • Track project costs, quantities, and production to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Identify and help resolve field and design issues proactively.
  • Assist in procurement and delivery tracking of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: 

  • 2–5 years of construction or project engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of construction processes, plans, and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with limited oversight.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in excavation, utilities, or heavy civil construction.
  • Familiarity with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Understanding of cost tracking and scheduling principles.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
