Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh sandwiches according to customer preferences.
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
  • Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently.
  • Process customer purchases and payments.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with grocery items and local products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store and deli area.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Answer customer questions and make recommendations on products and local specialties.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Previous retail, deli, food service, cashier, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience operating a POS system is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and stocking of merchandise.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated and food preparation areas.
