Responsibilities: 

  • Perform excavation and grading tasks accurately according to project specifications.
  • Use surveying equipment to shoot grade and ensure proper elevation and slope.
  • Prepare sites for concrete pouring, including setting forms, leveling, and compacting soil.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Support skilled tradespeople and laborers in daily construction activities.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Montana Real ID OR Passport required.
  • Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
  • Proven experience as an excavation laborer or in a similar skilled labor role.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction grade stakes and use leveling equipment.
  • Knowledge of concrete prep, including form setting, leveling, and surface preparation.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
