Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical issues on diesel and gasoline engines, implements, and agricultural equipment assemblies
  • Perform inspections, tune-ups, and repairs on all makes and models of farming equipment
  • Provide field service, repairing agricultural machinery on-site at client locations
  • Maintain and service shop equipment, service trucks, and trailers
  • Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
  • Record work performed and communicate effectively with shop management and clients
  • Follow all shop and field safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, safe operation of hand and power tools, proper lifting techniques, and awareness of moving vehicles and equipment

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a Tractor Mechanic or similar role in agricultural equipment repair
  • Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults on multiple equipment types and brands
  • Proficient with hand and power tools used in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to lift heavy parts safely and apply proper lifting techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented approach
