Responsibilities: 

  • Operate a wheel loader (6-8 yard bucket) to load trucks with gravel and other aggregate materials. 
  • Manage material stockpiles, ensuring proper segregation and preventing contamination. 
  • Accurately track bucket counts and load counts. 
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections and light maintenance on the loader, including greasing and cleaning. 
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs on the crusher and screen plant. 
  • Assist with screen changes and cleaning around tail pulleys. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
  • Provide excellent customer service to truck drivers and other contractors. 
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. 

Requirements: 

  • A current and valid MSHA certification is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience running a loader, loading trucks, and working around screens and crushers is required (skid steer experience is not sufficient).
  • CDL is a plus, but not required.
  • Solid understanding of loader operation and maintenance. 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including shoveling, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and other contractors. 
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to working safely and efficiently. 

Job Type: Full-time, Monday –Friday, 7 am-5:30 pm, weekends and OT as needed
