Responsibilities: 

  • Installation of baseboards, crown molding, wainscoting, door and window casings
  • Cabinetry installation and custom millwork
  • Wood paneling, staircases, mantels, built-ins, and specialty trim
  • Door and window installation and alignment
  • Dry fit and final install of finished materials
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all installations are level, plumb, and aligned to specifications.
  • Supervise, mentor, and direct a team of finish carpenters and apprentices.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure team productivity and job site organization.
  • Train team members in techniques and safety practices.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for carpentry work.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds code requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
  • Conduct inspections of work performed by team members.
  • Follow and enforce all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of finish carpentry experience.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role on job sites
  • Extensive knowledge of finish carpentry tools, techniques, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of job site safety practices
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks
  • Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment
