Responsibilities: 

  • Safely operate excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment. (No smoking in vehicles or equipment) 
  • Perform earthmoving, grading, trenching, and demolition for a variety of projects. 
  • Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes. 
  • Work safely around utilities, underground infrastructure, and other job site hazards. 
  • Load and transport materials as needed. 
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs. 
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including fall protection and lift operation. 
  • Communicate with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • All other job duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in civil, utility, residential, or demolition projects preferred. 
  • Class A CDL is a plus but not required. 
  • Ability to read and understand grading plans, trenching layouts, and utility maps. 
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, fall protection, and heavy equipment safety. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks. 
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects (hotel and dinner covered by the company). 
  • Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
