Responsibilities: 

  • Dig, spread, and level dirt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools (shovels, picks, rakes).
  • Assist in trenching and backfilling operations.
  • Support equipment operators by clearing debris and maintaining safe work zones.
  • Perform fine grading and detail work where machinery cannot reach.
  • Locate and expose underground utilities carefully (hand digging when required).
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.

Requirements: 

  • Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods.
  • Experience in construction or excavation preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and job site safety practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen upon offer of employment.
