Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines. 

  • Ensure all meals meet quality and safety standards. 

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas promptly after meal service. 

  • Perform dishwashing duties consistently to maintain a clean kitchen environment. 

  • Monitor inventory of kitchen supplies and communicate needs to management. 

  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. 

  • Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs as required. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in food preparation and kitchen service preferred but not required. 

  • Must pass state and federal background checks, including child abuse and criminal history clearances. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. 

  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and follow food safety protocols. 

  • Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with staff and children. 

  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to supporting a child-centered environment.
