Karla Baney is the October winner of We Support Our Schools Grant Program, sponsored by A2Z Personnel and 107.9 The Drive. Karla is a first-grade teacher at Stevensville Primary School. She is excited to utilize the funds to purchase “fidget” chairs and stools for her students who struggle with focusing on in-class work. The helpful seating options allow for subtle movement for very active children. They can create a calming effect by providing gentle rocking motion or help children stay alert and focused by engaging the core by providing wiggling motion. We want to thank Karla and all teachers out there who put forth their own time and money to take care of our community’s students. Congratulations Karla!
