Katherine Braun is an Executive Assistant in both Hamilton and Stevensville Branches. Katherine was born and raised in Hamilton, Montana. After traveling to a couple different countries, she decided to return to the Bitterroot Valley. In 2004, she settled down in Stevensville with her husband, Robert. Katherine spent the first decade of her adult life providing social services to high needs children but decided to take a break and pursue her clerical and organizational skills as her own children started to grow and have changing needs. Katherine joined the A2Z Personnel team in 2016 as an Employment Coordinator. After trying on a number of different hats, she settled into working with numbers through Payroll, and managing a variety of projects such as benefit and safety programs, specialized client services, and most recently heading up the pandemic response unit. You can see Katherine’s love for numbers reflected in her personal life as she and Rob have somehow accumulated 4 children, 4 horses, 4 goats, 4 cats, 4 chickens, 2 dogs, and 2 parakeets.
Katherine’s favorite part about working at A2Z is the opportunity to grow, conquer challenges, and solve problems with a supportive leader and her teammates. She also takes joy in A2Z’s focus on community involvement and supporting the residents of the Bitterroot Valley. When looking towards the future, Katherine’s goals are to have a long-lasting connectedness with A2Z (and the myriad of services and community support provided by A2Z) and to continue developing her own professional skills.
