Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of all aspects of machine and small engines for care and sprinklers
  • Working knowledge of tools
  • Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record

  • Ability to work with technology, not limited to maintenance software and machinery
  • Be able to perform manual labor in the elements

Specific Job Tasks & Duties:

  • Complete service tickets for specific clean-ups of care and log all work orders legibly and accurately in a timely manner on paper and in the computer system
  • Clock-in & clock-out at the office or with the work phone if provided
  • Be accessible with the work phone and have GPS activated for safety and accountability when on and off the property and using company vehicles and trailers rented or owned by the apartments for on and off-site jobs
  • Prepare apartments by following established turnover processes to ensure spaces are ready for new residents on the exterior walks and removal of items
  • Professionally interact with residents
  • Help load and unload with maintenance any time more than one person may be required for a job to be completed safely and efficiently
  • Install, repair, and remove sprinklers, but not limited to these
  • Complete minor carpentry and tool repairs including exterior doors, sprinkler heads, tree and shrub planting or removal
  • Light sprinkler repairs
  • Completes some exterior painting or staining projects
  • Grounds maintenance, including but not limited to daily garbage clean up, weekly trash bag replacement, landscaping, lawn mowing and fertilizing, weed kill and waking, snow clearing of walkways and parking lot, ice melt application etc.
  • General security and monitoring of the property for the residence. If trespassing, people need to be asked to leave for safety and cleanliness of the property
  • General exterior maintenance and knowledge of building and property
  • Inspection of vehicles and parking passes for residents to keep in compliance with leases and rules of the property
  • Occasional unit, laundry, toilet room cleaning and trash removal

General Job Tasks and Duties:

  • Upkeep grounds including landscaping, bulk trash removal, and snow removal
  • Pet waste removal prior to mowing and maintaining waste bags for use on the property
  • Manage and solve issues in a timely manner
  • Foster positive relationships and interactions with residents, applicants, vendors, contractors, team members, and community members
  • Run errands, pick up materials and coordinate with vendors and travel between properties
  • Must be able to walk, stand, climb, and work in tight spaces
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from varying heights using various kinds of machinery
  • Good physical condition and strength, ability to lift 80 lbs. unassisted
  • Maintain and run machinery with proper training and safety

Work Schedule:

Part-time opportunity with possible weekend work required
