Key Responsibilities: 

  • Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Ensure the proper loading, securing, and unloading of materials and equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure its safe operation.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials and equipment.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate through different terrains and weather conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations.
  • Previous experience operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and forklifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
  • Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
