Responsibilities: 

  • Sanding wood components to prepare for finishing. 

  • Constructing doors according to specifications, including assembly of frames, panels, and other elements. 

  • Installing hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware. 

  • Installing glass inserts into door frames. 

  • Operating various woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently. 

  • Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and adherence to standards. 

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area. 

  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals. 

  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. 

  • Performing other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Proven experience as a finish carpenter or in a related woodworking field  

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. 

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in woodworking. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. 

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 100 pounds or more. 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. 

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 

 

 

Job Type: Full Time, Tuesday – Friday 7am-5:30pm (half hour lunch break)
