General Job Tasks & Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Review and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues with customers.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger.
  • Provide support during audits and respond to any inquiries related to accounts receivable.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee hours.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Track incoming invoices and process them accurately and efficiently.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and process checks.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional education in accounting is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles.

Job Type: Part-time, Monday – Friday 8 am – 12 pm

Wage: $20/hr.
