Job Description

Local, family owned, and operated irrigation business needs a Bookkeeper & Store Assistant to join their team.  Full time or part time position based on candidate’s availability and interest in working as a store assistant.

Duties:

  • Maintain A/P & A/R
  • Maintain employee information, including W-2 and I-9 documentation
  • Maintain health insurance, HSA and IRA
  • Process hourly & salary payroll and submit payroll payments
  • Batch order entries input by store and management
  • Balance and post registers
  • Prepare cash tills for storefront
  • Manage inventory and assist with updating price changes
  • Assist in the storefront and interact with customers as needed

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years bookkeeping experience
  • Accounting Degree desired but not necessary
  • Proficient with accounting software, familiarity with Cougar Mountain a plus
  • Submit to a background check
