Packaging and Material Management applicant needed to assemble firewood into bundles and prepare the bundles for delivery in the Bitterroot Valley. This position currently needs an employee to work 6 hours a week and possibly up to 20 or 40/hrs. a week in the future as business grows. This budding organization is looking for an employee that could grow with the organization as it ramps up its production and moves into additional work fields.

Substitute Custodians

Current positions available- Reliable, on call Substitute Custodians who are committed to providing students, staff and community members with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop. This position is ideal for anyone looking to step in on short notice, to fill between the hours of 4:30pm – 12:30am Monday – Friday. As a Substitute Custodian you will be responsible for keeping the buildings and premises neat and clean at all times. Duties may include but are not limited to cleaning building floors, servicing and supplying restrooms, gathering trash, dusting and window cleaning.
Applicant Qualifications:
• Must be able to individually lift up to 50lbs, crawl and kneel
• Must be able to individually carry up to 50lbs, up a flight of stairs
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder

Detailed Responsibilities:
• Keep buildings and premises, including sidewalks, neat and clean at all times

November 2019 Recipient

The We Support Our Teachers grant winner for the month of November is Debbie Johnston of Darby Elementary. Debbie is a Kindergarten teacher that strives to make Montana’s history come alive for her students. Mrs. Johnston requested funds to support her school’s Native American Heritage Day. A teepee was erected, and art projects were offered that focused on Native art practices. Debbie arranged to have a group of individuals coming from The People’s Center in Pablo to teach their K-7th grades about the culture of the Salish Kootenai and Pend d’Oreilles. Along with the group from The People’s Center, she scheduled to have a group of students from Two Eagle River School to perform a Powwow Presentation for K-12th grades. There was a drumming group, as well as singing and dancing performances. At the end of the Powwow, the entire school gathered on the gym floor to participate in a round dance.

Pharmacy Technician

One Position available for a part time Pharmacy Technician. Shifts are Monday through Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm and every other Saturday 9:00 am–4:00pm. Job duties would include but are not limited to Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules. Help pharmacist prepare and dispense medications. Answer phone calls in a professional manner, accept verbal orders for refill prescriptions from medical practitioners or their designated agents and issue refill requests to the prescriber. Receive and store incoming supplies, initial and date all invoices with date drugs are received and complete the transmittal for pharmacist’s approval. Count stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records. Process records of medication and equipment dispensed to customer or hospital patient, compute charges, and enters data in computer. Maintain patient profile system. Handles third party billing, re-billing and inquiries. Prepare intravenous (IV) packs. Clean equipment and sterilize glassware according to prescribed methods. Help maintain and clean and orderly pharmacy. Qualified candidates are not required to have a MT Pharmacy Technician Certification but it will be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Training and will be required to take the certification test and pass within 6 months of registering as a Technician in Training.

Job Description
3 tab press operator workers needed for one night shift and two day shifts at a very busy nutritional supplement manufacturing company located in Missoula, MT. These positions will pay $15.00/hr for day shift, $16.00 for night shift. The schedule for day shift is 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The schedule for night shift is 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. All shifts include a 1/2 hour break for lunch. Candidates for these positions will work Mon-Fri. Candidates must be available to work 50 hours/week.
 
This position requires a high level of mechanical experience. Job duties include machine operation to form tabs out of raw material using many different settings.
